Indian manufacturers, exporters and specialist suppliers interested in working with Vanguard Sourcing can submit a supplier capability profile for consideration against relevant buyer enquiries. The information helps us understand the supplier’s legal identity, product categories, actual manufacturing capability, production locations, quality systems, export experience and commercial terms. Sharing a profile does not guarantee registration, approval, a buyer introduction or a purchase order.
Vanguard Sourcing is an India-based sourcing and production coordination partner supporting international retailers, importers and brands. We review suppliers against product-specific requirements and the scope of each buyer enquiry. A supplier may be relevant for one category or construction and not for another. The actual factory, process, product and order capacity must be checked before any buyer recommendation or order decision.
Who should submit a supplier profile?
We welcome capability information from manufacturers, export houses and specialist suppliers whose products and services align with our sourcing categories. Relevant areas may include home textiles and bedding, towels, bath mats and rugs, home décor, metalware, wooden accessories, kitchenware, selected household hard goods, storage products and related consumer products. Please identify whether your organisation manufactures directly, trades finished goods, provides a specialist process or coordinates other factories.
1. Company and legal-entity information
Provide the full legal business name, trading name if different, registered office, operating address, website, main contact person, business email and telephone number. Include relevant company registration and tax details where appropriate, and state the legal entity that would quote, contract and invoice an international buyer. If the sales office, export house and manufacturing facility are separate businesses, explain the relationship and identify the party responsible for each activity.
Do not submit another company’s registration documents or certificates as your own. If documents are shared for initial screening, identify the holder, issuing body, scope, facility and validity period. Information may be requested again during product-specific due diligence.
2. Product categories and manufacturing capability
List the categories and specific products you manufacture or supply. For each category, identify the materials, constructions, finishes, sizes, processes and typical order types. A home-textile supplier should distinguish weaving, knitting, dyeing, printing, stitching, quilting, tufting and finishing capability. A metal supplier should identify base metals, forming, casting, welding, polishing, plating or coating. A wooden-products supplier should identify species or engineered panels, joinery, finishing and assembly.
Explain which processes are completed at your own site and which are outsourced. Where subcontractors are used, identify the process and location and explain how material, quality, change control and delivery are managed. Do not describe a trading or coordination office as the manufacturing site unless production actually takes place there.
3. Factory address, facilities and capacity
Provide the physical address of each facility relevant to the products offered. Summarise the machinery, production lines, key process equipment, warehousing, finishing and packing facilities. State the normal production range and current available capacity by product or process, along with the basis used to calculate it. Capacity statements should be realistic for the season, product complexity and order quantity; a generic monthly capacity figure is not enough to qualify a specific enquiry.
Where relevant, share photographs or videos showing the actual site, equipment and process flow. Be prepared to confirm the facility and production route during a buyer visit or agreed audit. Photographs should be current and should not imply that a facility or machine belongs to your company if it does not.
4. Quality-management and product-testing information
Describe your incoming-material checks, in-process controls, final inspection, measurement equipment, calibration or verification process, traceability, non-conformance handling, rework and corrective-action procedure. Identify the quality records you can provide with an order. For product-specific testing, state which tests are available in-house and which are arranged through external laboratories.
If you hold certificates or audit reports, provide the exact certificate name, issuing organisation, certificate holder, site address, product or process scope, certificate number where appropriate and validity dates. A certificate for one facility or product category should not be presented as covering every site, subcontractor or SKU. A factory audit, product inspection, laboratory test and certification are different activities.
5. Export experience and destination markets
List the countries and customer channels you have supplied, where disclosure is permitted. Describe your experience with export packing, product labels, barcodes, shipment documentation, buyer specifications and retail routing instructions. Do not disclose confidential customer names, prices or designs without permission. If you have experience with a particular destination requirement, explain the product category and work performed rather than making a general claim that all products are compliant.
6. Commercial information and order requirements
Provide typical MOQ by product, size, colour, material or process; sample-development lead time; bulk-production lead time; payment expectations; quotation validity; packing capability; and the Incoterms you can quote with a named place. Explain which costs are separate, such as tooling, moulds, sample development, testing, special packaging, inspection or export handling. Prices and lead times must be confirmed for each buyer specification and order.
7. Supplier screening and onboarding process
- Submit a current company and product capability profile with facility information.
- Provide examples of relevant products, processes and available production capacity.
- Share applicable business, quality, social or environmental documents with accurate scope and validity details.
- Respond to follow-up questions about materials, subcontractors, MOQ, samples, prices and lead time.
- Where appropriate, support a product-specific sample review, factory visit or due-diligence assessment.
- Confirm the commercial entity, banking details and authorised contact using appropriate verification steps before any transaction.
Supplier information may be retained for evaluation against future enquiries, subject to the applicable privacy and business-information practices. A profile may not be selected if it does not match an active buyer requirement. Registration does not create an agency relationship, exclusivity, guaranteed lead flow or entitlement to an order.
